Wireless Security

As wireless networking becomes more and more common, it is important for users to enable some type of wireless security in order to keep data and personal information on computer networks secure from hackers and attacks. Without security, any unauthorized user can detect your wireless network, connect to it, and snoop around your personal internal network. Firewalls can provide a level of protection for incoming and outgoing wired network traffic, but data traveling over the wireless waves still need to be kept secure as well.

In this section, we will be introducing and going into detail with some industry-wide security standards and help you understand how these standards protect your private information.
