UPnP/Rendezvous™ UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play. Increasingly, it is important that networks are easy and intuitive to set up, and UPnP helps to simplify the network configuration process. Devices that are UPnP compliant imply that if you have a Windows XP/ME/2000 or Mac-based computer on the network and plug a UPnP compliant device into the network, the computers should automatically recognize the UPnP device and add it as a device on the network. Rendezvous™ is a plug and play standard for Mac-based computers and helps Mac computers discover each other and share information with each other on the network. |
