By signing up with one of the many free Dynamic DNS (DDNS) services available on the Web, you can assign an easy-to-remember name and domain to the camera (e.g. www.mycamera.myddns.com). This allows you to remotely access your camera without having to remember the IP address, even if it has been changed by your Internet Service Provider. ‘Dynamic’ refers to a constantly changing IP Address. And since ISPs frequently change IP addresses on the Internet the DDNS service helps to track this IP address and reassign your domanin name i.e mycamera.myddns.com to the IP address. |
